We saw one of the fastest Marathon in the Kosice h |
|
| |
The last Kosice Peace Marathon is characterized not only by record participation but also by very good sport results.
According to results of women and men, who stood at the podium, KPM was the second fastest marathon in the entire Kosice history. Just compare the average time from the sum of the first three men and women. And then perhaps, for someone is surprising that the last year Marathon didn´t become the fastest in the history. Men results were really excellent but the overall result was “slowed down” by the first three women.
So the primacy belongs to 2009 Marathon with average time of 2:22:31, followed by actual year 2011 with time of 2:23:31 and on the third place is 2008 Marathon with average time of 2:24:29. This year results are more valuable, when we consider the weather – during finishing the best runners was 5 ˚ C warmer than in 2009.
For comparing the overall speed up of the KPM look at the breakthrough years 2000 – 2:32:03; 1990 – 2:38:11; 1980 – 2:33:14. |
