It was not so long ago, when for the first time young people on skates with helmets on their heads appeared at the start line ready to include in-line discipline into our event. They succeeded. This very attractive, it could be said still new sport discipline, is making its mark around the world. There were and are large marathon festivals that offer skaters helping hand. In Kosice as well we have admired the speed and art of the best and the devotion of those for whom in-line skating is their favorite way of spending free time. After the initial years when they covered a distance of 21.097 meters, in 2007 in-line course was repaired (nearly 20 km of the course) mainly because of safety and technical reasons.
